I tell him all of [G]my secrets[D7] and all of my[G] little[G7] plans
and[C] from[Cm] the way[G] he smiles[Em] at me,[A7] I know[D7] he[G] understands

The[D7] angels took[G] Daddy to[D7] heaven, when I[G] was just[G7] goin' on three
But[C] I'll bet[Cm] they never[G] told[Em] him - how[A7] blue and lone-[D7}some We'd be
I try to cheer up[G] my mommie,[D7] when the tears[G] roll[G7] down her face
